This is the first entry of the VOTM Journal…EVER. So I’m laying down history at this exact moment. Let it sink in…aight, reality check is in effect. Speaking of “reality checks”, shouts out to my man KayeM, a young brother on the road to putting the DMV on the map with this rap shit, currently down in ATL, making moves. Y’all are gonna see an interview with him sooner than later, and it’ll definitely give the area something to talk about, because he has A LOT to say. So this site has officially been up for a week, and the feedback has been crazy! I appreciate everyone who hit me back and wanted to do an interview, especially the ones that I’ve already done the interviews with. There’s plenty more to come, including Wale, Sneakaman Dan, KayeM, Marky, Carty-Yeah, Mo C.H.I.P.S., Spynehitaz, etc. I’m NOWHERE near stopping this…VOTM is the new brand, people! From this site to DVDs to clothing to maybe even an official magazine soon. Shouts out to YAMS from The GrungeCake Crisis Magazine. You’ll see me and her working together a lot in the future, and trust me…it’s going to make VOTM better and give more opportunities to y’all, the people, the entertainers in the DMV, ya dig?
